What to think about

First: To define what I'm interested in.

To be honest: I'm interested in multi-agent systems, more than in agents themselves.

I can build something in 3APL and I know SDL very well. Can it be connected somehow? Can I define a communication protocol in SDL and implement it in 3APL straigthforwardly? Or is tehere any better language I should look at?
